Anna Beswick
Anna is a Policy Fellow at the Grantham Research Institute at LSE working on climate adaptation and resilience. She is working on the Zurich Flood Resilience Alliance programme which is a multi-sectoral collaboration focusing on finding practical ways to support communities in developed and developing countries strengthen their resilience to flood risk.
Background
Prior to joining the Grantham Research Institute, Anna was Head of Climate Leadership at Scottish sustainability charity Sniffer. At Sniffer Anna led a wide range of climate adaptation and resilience initiatives advising governments, major organisations and cross sector partnerships on climate adaptation and resilience. She led the Scottish Government’s Adaptation Scotland programme and developed place-based climate adaptation and resilience work in Ireland through the TalX project. Anna also pioneered private sector support and engagement and developed innovative Small and Medium Sized Enterprise climate resilience projects in the city of Glasgow.
