China, the United States, the European Union, India and Russia are among the world’s top greenhouse gas emitters. As a consequence, they have a critical role to play in global efforts to reduce emissions.
The Institute conducts a major programme of work focused on China’s role in tackling climate change. In addition, we regularly carry out research and policy analysis on the EU, India and other big emitters.
