About

Alexandra was a Policy Fellow, Conservation Finance. The objective of this role was to lead programmes and projects on sustainable finance, particularly in relation to the conservation of nature and biodiversity.

Background

Alexandra is an environmental economist with experience in finance for sustainable land use, financial supervision and investment analysis. Before joining the Institute she worked at Global Canopy leading their Financing Sustainable Landscapes program with an especial emphasis on increasing the flows of finance towards sustainable land use in Latin America. Previously, Alexandra has conducted risk analysis for the Colombian financial regulator and also worked in a risk analyst capacity to support the management of portfolios for a large oil and gas company. Alexandra is an economist with an MSc in Environmental Economics.
