MP and Party
Position on Net Zero / Climate Change
  • MP commitment

Committed to net zero 2050 and UK’s interim targets. Committed to action on climate change. *

“The climate crisis is the single greatest long-term challenge we face, and it requires us to act decisively in this next crucial decade. … With so much at stake, we cannot afford any more complacency, inaction and lack of direction when it comes to the climate emergency. I can assure you that I will continue to support calls for the Government to do what is needed to protect us from the greatest long-term threat we face and to realise the huge benefits that the transition to net zero promises.”
"The climate crisis is more acute than ever, and without a concerted effort to integrate planning infrastructure and development, we will struggle to achieve our net zero targets."
