This report examines the impacts of extreme heat on workers, occupational health and productivity. The authors specifically focus on how physiological research and insights can inform policies to prevent heat-related health impacts. The report concludes with recommendations for the UK Government on how it can make better progress to protect the health, wellbeing and productivity of the workforce from the impacts of extreme heat.
