Edward (Ted) is a Birmingham Fellow in the Department of Economics at the University of Birmingham.
Ted joined the University of Birmingham in 2020. He was previously a Lecturer in Economics at City, University of London and a Research Associate at the Centre of Economics Performance at LSE. He completed his PhD at LSE. Prior to re-joining academia, he spent around five years working as professional economist in various UK central government departments.

This paper uses the housing market to examine the costs of indoor air pollution. The authors focus on radon and find that as published risk levels in England show an increase, property prices decrease. Read more
