Carol Yuen

Carol is a Research Assistant in the Law and Governance team at the Grantham Research Institute. Her work focuses on examining and synthesising climate-relevant laws and policies around the world for the Climate Change Laws of the World database.
Carol is also currently involved in projects promoting pro-climate policies in Southeast Asia and studying investors’ fiduciary duties and antitrust obligations in sustainability, working with the Tara Climate Foundation, the UN Principles of Responsible Investment, and others. She also gives climate workshops to primary school students through ClimateEd.
Background
Previously, Carol worked as a researcher at the Asia-Pacific Centre for Environmental Law at the National University of Singapore, where she researched climate transition planning, environmental litigation and renewable energy and attended COP negotiations.
Carol is a qualified advocate and solicitor in Singapore. She holds an LLB from the National University of Singapore and an LLM in Environmental Law and Policy from University College London.
