Grantham Research Fellow runs negotiation workshop for COP23 Presidency of Fiji
Grantham Research Institute Research Fellow and Director of the Centre for Multilateral Negotiations, Kai Monheim, is running a high profile workshop in Bonn to support Fiji’s presidency of the UN climate negotiations process. The 1.5-day workshop on negotiation management and strategy will contribute to the capacity of the Government of Fiji to successfully prepare and facilitate the UNFCCC summit COP23 in November 2017. The prime minister and chief negotiator of Fiji both attended the event. Key policy recommendations for the incoming COP-Presidency and the UNFCCC Secretariat will be addressed and core activities include seasoned “lessons learnt” which will be provided by high-level facilitators.
