LSE colleagues are invited to a hybrid research seminar between Tsinghua University and the London School of Economics and Political Science on climate change, food security, and health.
The objective of this research seminar is to promote knowledge sharing between LSE and Tsinghua University in addressing policy-relevant challenges at the climate-food-health nexus from the perspectives of China and the UK. We warmly welcome LSE staff and students to join this event virtually, which will be hosted in person at the Department of Earth System Science at Tsinghua University.
This event is part of a collaborative research project on strengthening the resilience of food supply chains through international cooperation within the thematic area ‘Building sustainable societies’, supported under the LSE – Tsinghua University Sustainability Research Fund. The project team includes Alice Lei Bian (PI), Professor Elizabeth Robinson (Co-I), and Professor Deborah James, at the LSE; and Professor Wenjia Cai (PI), Yujuan Wang, PhD students Yihui Liu, Jianxiang Shen, and Hanyi Wu, and Professor Lan Xue, at Tsinghua University.
