This official UNFCCC Side Event at the Bonn Climate Conference 2024 (SB60) was jointly organised by LSE Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment, Just Transition Finance Lab, Real Instituto Elcano, and University of Cape Town.

The event explored how climate laws and policies enable a just transition and mobilise finance to ensure its implementation at scale. The speakers discussed lessons learnt on how to design and implement just low carbon transitions that spur social innovation and helps address existing inequalities.
