Juan Pablo Martínez

Juan Pablo Martínez is a policy analyst at the Centre for Economic Transition Expertise (CETEx) who specialises in critical minerals, as well as emerging markets and developing economies. His work focuses on the economic and physical implications of transitioning to a low-carbon economy.
Background
Juan Pablo holds an MSc in Environmental Economics and Climate Change from the LSE and an MSc in Economics from Universidad del Rosario. Prior to joining Grantham, he spent four years working on academic research in the areas of development, health policies, industrial organization, and environmental economics. Many of these projects required the employment of machine learning techniques for filling data gaps, as well as econometric modelling.
