Shafaq Ashraf

Shafaq Ashraf is a Policy Fellow and Research Project Manager at the TPI Global Climate Transition Centre (TPI Centre), the academic partner of TPI, an investor-led initiative that provides investors with data on the climate performance of companies, banks, and countries. She manages the Climate Action 100+ (CA100+) project, leads the methodology development of the CA100+ Net Zero Company Benchmark Disclosure Framework and oversees the assessments and analysis of how companies perform relative to the Framework. She also contributes to the development of various TPI Centre methodologies and reports.
Background
Shafaq, did a BSc (Honors) in Economics from the Lahore University of Management Sciences and completed a Masters in Global Development from Queen Mary, University of London. Shafaq also completed a summer semester at London School of Economics during her bachelors. Previously, she has worked on different projects focused on environmental sustainability in urban, rural and agricultural context with the Asian Development Bank and Oxfam GB.
