This report by Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS) and University of Exeter calls for a radical and urgent shift in the climate scenarios used by investors, governments, and businesses to address climate change. The report presents a new set of four narrative global climate scenarios out to 2030 based on a framework which embraces the radical uncertainties surrounding the potential positive as well as negative tipping points. Assumptions about the key scenario drivers were developed with the help of over 40 experts in geo- politics, climate policy, economics, finance, technology and consumer behaviour.
