About

Vitaliy was a researcher at the Transition Pathway Initiative (TPI), an asset-owner led initiative which assesses companies’ preparedness for the transition to a low carbon economy. He carried out company carbon performance assessments, contributes to TPI’s methodology developments, and liaised with the initiative’s partners.

Background

Before joining the GRI Vitaliy has worked at the Carbon Trust Green Finance team. As an analyst he supported financial institutions with impact reporting across various asset classes, and helped organisations explore climate related target setting.  Previously Vitaliy also worked with the 2 Degrees Investing Initiative, researching the regulatory landscape of responsible retail investing in Europe. Vitaliy holds an MSc in Climate Change, Management and Finance from the Imperial College Business School, as well as a BSc in Environmental Policy with Economics from the LSE. In his spare time Vitaly also co-leads Finance for a Sustainable Future – a social enterprise focused on improving sustainability skills among junior finance professionals.
