About

Mackenzie is a Research Assistant at the TPI Global Climate Transition Centre (TPI Centre), where she contributes to assessing the carbon performance of the world’s largest publicly listed companies in the highest-emitting sectors.

Background

Mackenzie holds an MSc in Climate Change, Management & Finance from Imperial College London and dual bachelor’s degrees in Environmental Science & Policy and Spanish Language from the University of Maryland, College Park. Prior to joining the TPI Centre, she worked in environmental consulting, with experience spanning climate tech start-ups, financial institutions, NGOs and the public sector. As a Fulbright Grantee in Madrid, Spain, she researched how governance practices facilitate the use of remote sensing data for wildfire management across Spain and South America. In 2024, she presented at COP, highlighting the importance of Indigenous and youth voices in national biodiversity policymaking.
