Limor Zwi-Dantsis

Limor is the Research Manager at the Institute. Her main focus is to work with colleagues on developing and submitting competitive proposals to funding bodies. She also supports reporting of outcomes and impacts of funded research.

Background

Limor holds a PhD in Cardiovascular Biology (Technion), followed by postdoctoral research in Bioengineering (Imperial College London) and a lectureship in Gene Therapy (UCL). During her academic career, she secured multiple UK and European research grants and fellowships. She later worked in the biotechnology sector before moving into research funding and development, where she founded her own consultancy and supported researchers in developing successful funding strategies and careers. Most recently, she was Funding Manager at Barts Charity, managing a portfolio of research and healthcare funding programmes and supporting researchers and clinicians throughout the grant lifecycle.
