About

Kay is Strategic Outreach Manager at the Transition Pathway Initiative Centre (TPI Centre) of the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment. She joined the TPI Centre in July 2024.

Kay leads the development and implementation of the TPI Centre’s outreach and communications strategy, and supports engagement with external stakeholders, including asset owners, asset managers, investor networks, corporates and regulators. 

Background

Kay has over 12 years’ experience in multi-regional strategic planning, complex initiatives, market research, new product launches and sales support as Director at global investment banks, such as Merrill Lynch, Bank of America and Credit Suisse, in the US and Europe.

During her career break for family relocations to Paris, then to London, she obtained the Certificate in ESG Investing (CFA Institute), the Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting (SASB, IFRS Foundation), the advanced French diploma (DELF B2), and the Certificates in Sustainable Finance, Business Sustainability Management, and Sustainable Marketing, Media and Creative at the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership. 

Prior to getting her MBA in NYU Stern School of Business with focus on Finance and Marketing in New York, she worked in communications and PR in Seoul, Hong Kong and Tokyo. She holds a BA in English Literature & Language from Sogang University in Seoul.
