Isabel Lara Miranda

Isabel is a Policy Fellow at CETEx, where she focuses on international economic and fiscal policy.
Background
Prior to joining CETEx, Isabel worked at the European Commission as part of the Recovery and Resilience Task Force. She was involved in the design and implementation of the reforms and investments outlined in the Recovery and Resilience Plans, which aimed to support the EU’s economic recovery in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic. Her worked focused on sustainable finance, climate and biodiversity, and their intersection with social dimensions – particularly the just transition.
Isabel has also held positions at the European Parliament and Arcano Partners. In these positions she conducted economic research and analysis on international economics, and she contributed to the creation and publication of policy papers and reports.
Isabel holds a MSc on International Finance and Development from SOAS University of London and a BSc in Economics from University Carlos III of Madrid.
