Herlina Utamawati

Herlina is a policy fellow for the CETEx Emerging Market and Developing Economies (EMDE’s) stream with a focus on fiscal and economic policy. Prior to joining the Grantham Research Institute, Herlina was a policy analyst at the Ministry of Finance of Indonesia. She held various roles, including providing analysis on tax policy and macro-fiscal issues, international relation officer and policy analyst for global affairs, tax treaty, and tax revenue evaluation.
Background
Herlina holds a master’s degree in public administration in international development from the Harvard Kennedy School, Harvard University. She also earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and diploma in taxation from the Polytechnic of State Finance STAN, a state university under the Ministry of Finance in Indonesia.
