Hannah Maier-Peveling

Hannah is a Policy Analyst (Finance and Economics) focusing on how Ministries of Finance can integrate climate into macroeconomic modelling tools and approaches to help drive climate action. She supports the Grantham Institute’s work with the Coalition of Finance Ministers for Climate Action.
Background
Hannah holds an MSc in Environmental Economics and Climate Change from the London School of Economics and a BSc (Hons) in Economics with Politics and International Relations from Northeastern University London. Her dissertation evaluated priority areas for habitat restoration in Europe for cost-effective biodiversity gains. Alongside her studies she was a Student Associate at Volans, where her research focused on EU climate policy and corporate climate lobbying.
