Doing his PhD at the Grantham Institute, Dirk-Jan will focus on long-term energy transformations and energy prices and its relevance for green growth, together with Roger Fouquet and Ralph Hippe.
Background
After getting a Master’s degree in Resource, Growth & Development Economics on Tilburg University (Netherlands), Dirk-Jan started working as a Research Assistant at the Basque Center for Climate Change in Bilbao (Spain).
Building upon his Master thesis on the relevance of long-term energy prices and efficiency for economic growth, he continued to explore this topic by assisting Roger Fouquet with his research.
