Today, the TPI Global Climate Transition Centre (TPI Centre) at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) launches two consultations to gather feedback on the frameworks it uses to assess sovereigns and banks. The consultations are public but target primarily investors, banks and sovereign issuers.

The TPI Centre is an independent source of rigorous research and assessments that are based on publicly available information disclosed by assessed entities. Their assessment frameworks track the progress made by companies, sovereigns and banks in the transition to a low-carbon economy. They are transparent and accessible via the TPI Centre website. To ensure that the frameworks remain relevant, they may be reviewed and updated periodically. The Centre operates independently. However, it undertakes consultations to share proposed approaches and gather views on potential amendments, when material.

The TPI Centre invites all relevant stakeholders to take part in the new consultations, which run until 31 January 2026. Further details on each consultation and on how to respond can be found at the links below:
