Response to the appointment of Nigel Topping as Chair of the UK Climate Change Committee

Welcoming the announcement today that Nigel Topping has been appointed Chair of the UK Climate Change Committee, Professor Lord Stern of Brentford, Chair of the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment and Chair of the Global School of Sustainability at the London School of Economics and Political Science, said: “Nigel Topping is an outstanding appointment. He has a wealth of domestic and international experience across the public and private sectors.
