Hosted in collaboration with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the Grantham Research Institute at LSE, the event will examine how strategic investment in bioeconomy solutions—across land, livelihoods, and infrastructure—can strengthen macro-fiscal stability and drive inclusive, climate-aligned development. 

The session will bridge 2 critical streams of work: 

1. New research by NatureFinance and the Inter-American Development Bank on the bioeconomy–climate nexus and its policy-finance implications.
2. Ongoing efforts and initiatives to integrate nature and climate risks into macroeconomic, credit, and investment frameworks, including the Bioeconomy Finance Hub for Africa.
