This report provides a one-stop overview of the ‘Economic Analysis for Green and Resilient Transitions’ initiative of the Coalition of Finance Ministers for Climate Action, which is being led by Denmark’s Ministry of Finance with support from the Grantham Research Institute.

Introduced by the Danish Minister for Finance, the report presents: the rationale for this crucial initiative; work highlights and successes to date, including findings from a first-of-a-kind survey of Ministries of Finance, and case study insights from the initiative’s ambitious Compendium of Practice; recommendations for plugging key gaps in Ministries’ access to tools and their capabilities for mainstreaming climate action; and a look-ahead to the initiative’s work in 2026.
