Wang Yao is a Professor and Ph.D. Supervisor. She currently serves as:

  • Director General of the International Institute of Green Finance at the Central University of Finance and Economics (CUFE).
  • Director of the Dual Carbon and Finance Research Center,CUFE.
  • Researcher at the Institute of Finance and Economics and the Beijing Finance Research Base.
  • Visiting Scholar at the Economic Transformation Centre of the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

She also holds the following positions:

  • Deputy Secretary-General of the Green Finance Committee at China Society for Finance and Banking
  • Advisor to the Green Development Committee of Securities Association of China
  • Sustainable Finance Advisor to Monetary Authority of Singapore
