Geoffrey Barrows

Geoffrey joined the Grantham Institute as a Research Officer in October 2015 where he worked on a variety of issues in environment, international trade, and development economics. He moved on to become CNRS researcher at Ecole Polytechnique, Paris, in August 2016.
Background
Geoffrey completed his PhD in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of California, Berkeley in 2015. His dissertation investigates the impact of foreign market access on the emission intensity of manufacturing firms in India. Prior to graduate school, Geoffrey served as a Research Associate at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York in the International Research Function. He holds a BA in Economics-Mathematics from Columbia College.
