About

Mark has over 8 years’ experience in the UK Civil Service.

Since 2021, he was Head of Strategy at the newly launched UK Infrastructure Bank. In this role he led the development of the Bank’s first Strategic Plan which set out how the Bank would deliver on its mission to help tackle climate change and support regional economic growth.

Background

Mark joined HM Treasury in 2015. He has worked on several policy areas across the Treasury, including establishing the UK Infrastructure Bank, managing the UK’s relationship with the European Investment Bank and setting the Ministry of Justice’s spending plans at Spending Review 2019 and 2020.

Prior to joining the government, Mark briefly worked in banking in London. Mark took his undergraduate degree at University College London and studied for a MCs in International Relations at LSE.
