About

Chloe is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Wegener Centre, University of Graz Austria. She is a climate scientist and extreme heat researcher and works on the HIGH horizons EU horizons funded project looking at the impact of heat on pregnant women, newborns, children and health workers.

Background

Chloe has an Environmental Science PhD from the University of Reading on global heat early warning systems. She worked for 11 months during her PhD for ECMWF helping to progress their thermal comfort and heat stress forecasts. And was a research assistance on the lancet countdown for climate and health for a short period.
