About

Agnieszka is Distinguished Policy Fellow and Director of Prudential Policy and Transition Finance at the LSE Centre for Economic Transition Expertise (CETEx) . Before joining the LSE, Agnieszka held roles across academia, the public sector, and think tanks in Brussels, Florence, and Warsaw. She was Part-Time Assistant Professor and Research Associate at the European University Institute’s Florence School of Banking and Finance, a Senior EU Affairs Analyst at Polityka Insight in Warsaw, and a parliamentary adviser on financial regulation dossiers at the European Parliament in Brussels. She holds a PhD in Law from the European University Institute (2020) and remains affiliated as Part-Time Assistant Professor with the Polish Academy of Sciences and Associate Researcher with the European Banking Institute. She has published widely on prudential regulation, sustainable finance and euro area governance.
