Tianyi Wu

Tianyi Wu is a DPhil and senior teaching associate at Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford. She is also a research officer at Marshall institute London School of Economics. Her current research project investigates the political economy of development finance and Global China, with thematic focus on green transition and debt sustainability in Global South.
Background
Prior to her doctoral studies, Tianyi worked on research and project development in impact investment, sustainable finance, and public-private partnerships at various institutions including the Overseas Development Institute, UCL-IIPP, the China-Africa Development Fund, World Bank, UNIDO, and the Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economics. She was a former Global China Pre-doctoral Research Fellow at the Boston University Global Development Policy Center. She holds an MPhil from the University of Cambridge and an LLB from Fudan University.
