Professor Judith Rees, Director of the Grantham Research Institute, has been appointed interim director of the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). The School's Council asked her to accept the post from 2 May 2011 until such time as a permanent Director can take up the office. Read more

The OECD report concluded that, "to meet ambitious climate change targets [in the UK] and reduce emissions, higher and more consistent carbon prices are needed.
