Kate Levick

Kate is Deputy Executive Director of Earth Capital Nexus and Director of Systemic Resilience. She leads EarthCap’s work with financial institutions, corporates and value chains, and co-ordinates EarthCap’s impact and influence strategies.
Background
Kate was previously Associate Director, Finance & Resilience at E3G between 2018 and and 2026, leading an international program of work on the politics and policy of financing resilient global climate transition. While at E3G she served as the Co-Head of the Secretariat to the UK’s Transition Plan Taskforce which created internationally recognised guidance, and was the Founding Director of the International Transition Plan Network. Previously Kate had spent ten years at CDP as Global Policy Director, connecting governments with climate action by companies, investors, and cities, and has also worked in the UK government’s Office of Climate Change, and in energy and policy related roles at BP Plc.
Kate has participated in a number of expert groups including chairing the policy workstream of the UK’s Green Technical Advisory Group and membership of the Expert Group of the Transition Finance Review, as well as the Strategic Steering Group of the Transition Finance Council. She has been a member of the GFANZ Technical Advisory Panel, the Climate Champions’ Expert Peer Review Group, and the UN Net Zero Taskforce Stakeholder Group.
Kate holds a Masters in Professional Studies in Leadership for Sustainable Development from Forum for the Future and Middlesex University, and a Bachelors from Oxford University.
