Amy-Jane Burrell

Amy-Jane is a Senior Policy Fellow with a focus on prudential policy, regulation and supervision. She was previously a Climate Policy Advisor at the Bank of England, where she led work on climate-related prudential policy and supervision, including the development of the PRA’s supervisory expectations for banks and insurers’ management of climate-related risks. She has also authored reports for the Network for Greening the Financial System (NGFS) on the use of financial institutions’ transition plans.
Amy-Jane has over 10 years’ experience in a range of policy roles across the Bank of England and UK government. Her previous roles at the Bank of England include supervision, financial stability and EU policy. She also led international trade negotiations for financial services at HM Treasury, and cross-Whitehall preparations for Brexit at the Department for Exiting the European Union.
