            Leonie is a Research Officer working on the integration of carbon dioxide removal into the UK emission trading system.
Background
Leonie previously worked as a junior researcher at the Kiel Institute whilst pursuing a PhD at the University of Kiel. Leonie concluded a B.Sc in Economics at the University of Augsburg and an M.Sc. at the University of Kiel. Leonie’s research is situated at the intersection of environmental and innovation economics, studying the role of technologies and policies in mitigating climate change.
