About me

Kateřina Březinová is currently the Director of Ibero-American center at the Department of International Relations and European Studies of Metropolitan University in Prague and a research fellow at Complutense University in Madrid. She published a book El Imaginario Chicano. La iconografía civil y política de los mexicanos en Estados Unidos de América 1965-2000 that analyses the political, cultural and social transformations the U.S. Mexican community.

Her main interest is Latin America and its relations with United States, with special focus of Mexico and Brazil. She is a founding member of Multicultural Center Prague and serves on the board of directors of the European Cultural Foundation based in Amsterdam.
