Office Assistants
Student Recruitment and Study Abroad Office Assistants are essential to SRSA in providing a proactive and timely customer service to prospective students, answering their enquiries about studying at LSE and sharing their experiences.
- Responding to enquiries from prospective LSE students through our online enquiry system.
- Contributing to the delivery of in-person and virtual recruitment activities, such as undergraduate Open Days, campus tours, and webinars.
- Providing project-based administrative and research support.
Office Assistants are expected to work 10 hours per week, with working hours being flexible to external commitments and service level demand.
- You’ll develop transferable skills in research, customer service, and communication.
- You’ll be paid an hourly wage, including for training (currently £17.70).
- Work offered is flexible to external commitments and service level demand, however you can expect to work an average of 10 hours per week both during and outside of term time.
All full-time current LSE students are eligible to apply for the role. This includes students enrolled on undergraduate, study abroad (e.g. General Course, GO LSE exchange), postgraduate taught (e.g. Masters, diploma), and postgraduate research (e.g. MRes/PhD, MPhil/PhD) programmes at LSE.
Applicants for this role should possess excellent communication skills, the ability to provide outstanding customer services, and a willingness to work both during and outside term times. Previous experience working in an office environment, ideally utilising a CRM system, and a good understanding of the UK higher education landscape would also be desirable.
