Coming from law, I embarked on a MSc in Philosophy of Science with no background in either of these disciplines, neither philosophy nor science. It is thanks to the extraordinary dedication and outstanding competence of LSE’s professors and the teaching in a small class of brilliant and enthusiastic students that this adventure of mine was not only a success but exceeded all my expectations. Professors were very approachable and knew how to explain even the most complicated topics understandably and with unmatched clarity but also in depth. Fellow students engaged in lively discussions even after classes, over beer in the pub on campus. LSE’s philosophy department deserves the reputation it has. I left London enriched and nostalgic.
