About me

Kendall is Projects Manager at the LSE Middle East Centre. She joined the Centre in September 2020 and is responsible for the management of all the research projects run by the Centre, including those part of the Academic Collaboration with Arab Universities Programme, the Kuwait Programme and the PeaceRep Iraq Programme. She also manages the Centre's team of programme coordinators.

She has a Joint Master’s in Medieval History and English from the University of St Andrews and a Master’s in Turkish Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS). She focussed on the religious landscape in medieval Persia and the impacts of nationalism on Turkey’s early education policies, respectively. She also studied Arabic at the American University in Beirut (AUB) in their intensive summer language programme.

Before joining the Centre, she was the Outreach and Administrative Coordinator for the Council for British Research in the Levant (CBRL), the British Institute for Persian Studies (BIPS) and the British Institute in Eastern Africa (BIEA).
