1. Complete your LSE online pre-enrolment
We expect that LSE online pre-enrolment will become available by September 2025. We will contact you with instructions once it is available.
Once your online pre-enrolment is complete, you will be able to access LSE resources such as your email address, Moodle (our virtual learning environment) and the Library. This is an important step toward completing your full enrolment at the LSE.
As part of the process, you will need to activate your LSE network and email account. For security reasons, you will only be able to activate your account once, so please ensure that you follow the instructions you will receive carefully. You will then be provided with your LSE username and email. Please make a note of these and remember your password - this is used for all LSE network facilities such as email, Moodle and the Library.
2. Log on to Moodle
Once you have completed your online pre-enrolment, you will be able to access Moodle, our virtual learning environment. It is important that you log in and self-enrol on the courses you will be taking in December 2025 so that you can start any pre sessional readings and activities set by the course leads.
We will contact you in September 2025 with the instructions on how to access your courses for December on Moodle.
3. Accessing your timetables
During the teaching block, teaching will take place from Monday-Friday throughout the day. The timetable for your first teaching block with exact timings and room locations will be available via Moodle approximately 4 weeks before the start of teaching. To access your timetables, make sure you have activated your LSE network account and enrolled on your programme and course specific Moodle pages.
Due to the intensive nature of the programme, if you are unable to attend a class due to unforeseen circumstances, you will need to notify us soon as possible: healthpolicy.exec@lse.ac.uk.
4. LSE LIFE
A good place to start preparing for your arrival is by reviewing the School’s LSE Life Resources. LSE Life are the experts on all things study skills, including essay-writing and note-taking. They will be available to support you with a successful (re)introduction into academic life and good practice; you will meet the LSE Life team in December.
5. Your Academic Mentor
Shortly before your arrival, you will be notified via email regarding who your academic mentor for the year will be.
Your Academic Mentor is a key point of contact in your academic department. Their role is to keep an overview of your academic progress and overall wellbeing during your time at the School. Further information on their role is available here: My Academic Mentor.
