The 2021 Brief
If you are planning to join either the School’s Treasure Hunt or the self-guided ‘Dead Economists Walk’, why not consider entering the Department’s photo competition? This year’s theme is ‘History of Economics in London’ and you can use your imagination in how you interpret the brief.
The deadline for submission is 8 October 2021 (end of Week 2)
The competition is open to all students enrolled in the department: undergraduate, masters’ and PhD.
Winners will be announced on 29 October (end of Week 5), and a gallery of the winning and shortlisted entries will be created.
The winner will receive a £50 Amazon voucher, and the two runners-up will receive £25.
Rules and how to enter:
Submitted photographs must have a clear and evident link to the theme – no additional explanatory text is permitted.
Submit your photo in .jpg format to Tracy Keefe by 2pm, 8 October 2021.
There is a maximum of two submissions per entrant.
Participants must be enrolled in a BSc, MSc or PhD programme taught in the Economic History Department of LSE.
Submissions will be judged by a mixed panel of students and staff.
