Graduate entry requirements for applicants from Venezuela
Taught master's programmes
To be considered for admission to a taught master's programme (upper second class equivalent), we would normally require a licenciado or professional title (awarded after a minimum of four years) or the maestria (without thesis) with a minimum overall mark of 8/9, 80 per cent, 17/20 or 4.5/5.
To be considered for admission to a taught master's programme (first-class equivalent), we would normally require a licenciado or professional title (awarded after a minimum of four years) or the maestria (without thesis) with a minimum overall mark of 8.5/9, 90 per cent, 19/20 or 5/5.
Research programmes (MPhil/MRes/PhD)
To be considered for admission to a research programme, we would normally require a master's degree (maestria) with a thesis, and expect an overall grade of distinguido/very good.
