Drop-in consultations for prospective students

Staff from the Student Marketing, Recruitment and Study Abroad (SMRSA) team offer brief drop-in consultations for prospective LSE undergraduate, graduate and study abroad students from 11.00-12.00 and 14.00-15.00 every Monday to Friday (excluding School closure days) in the Student Services Centre (ground floor, Old Building).

Consultations are offered on a first-come first-served basis and provide those interested in studying at the School with the opportunity to ask questions that aren’t answered on our website. Consultations may be limited to 10 minutes at busy times.

The SMRSA team can also be contacted through Live Chat.

Visitors wishing to tour LSE’s campus are welcome to do so using the LSExplorer guide. Details of guided campus tours are provided below.

Self-guided campus tours

Take a self-guided tour of the campus, using our LSExplorer. This self-guided tour has been designed to allow you to explore and discover LSE’s compact campus at your leisure, leading you around the streets and external public spaces that surround our buildings.

Guided campus tours

Our guided campus tours are a great opportunity to visit some of LSE’s key facilities and get a feel for what it’s like to be a student at LSE. Guided campus tours are led by current LSE students and last for approximately 40 minutes. Tours are followed by an optional 30 minute presentation outlining undergraduate, graduate and General Course study options at LSE, student life and the application process delivered by a member of staff from Student Marketing, Recruitment and Study Abroad.

Guided campus tours take place in LSE term-time only. Places are limited and advance booking is essential. Dates will be published here in September 2022. In the meantime, please sign up to our mailing list to receive more information about opportunities to Visit LSE.  You are also welcome to visit LSE and take a self-guided tour using our LSExplorer.

Covid secure measures:

  • If you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms or test positive for COVID-19, please do not attend the campus tour.
  • Mask wearing on campus is voluntary but strongly encouraged especially in lifts, confined spaces and teaching rooms.
  • Enhanced ventilation measures and cleaning regimes are in place on the LSE campus. Find out more about the COVID-secure measures currently in place at LSE.
  • Please be aware that we may need to introduce further COVID-secure measures in the future in line with guidance from the government and Public Health England.
