We’re pleased to announce the appointment of a new LSE Fellow in Philosophy of the Social Sciences, Mattia Gallotti, who will be joining us in September.

Mattia Gallotti joins us from the School of Advanced Study of the University of London, where he is currently the Manager of The Human Mind Project and a Research Fellow in Philosophy. Mattia’s research interests lie on the boundary between social philosophy and the cognitive humanities; his recent work has focused on the development of an interdisciplinary framework for understanding various aspects of the social mind.

In 2017-2018 Mattia will lead our two Philosophy of the Social Sciences courses (PH203 and PH405) as well as the dissertation seminar for students on our Philosophy of the Social Sciences MSc programme.

We look forward to welcoming Mattia to the Department.
