About

About

Alameer Alwabry’s work builds on his MSc in Real Estate Economics and Finance from the London School of Economics (LSE), where he developed a strong foundation in urban economics, spatial analysis, and policy evaluation, and cultivated an interest in government-led interventions and their impact on regional productivity and market performance.

Professionally, He began his career in the proptech sector at a Singapore-based start-up, then moved into business development and strategic advisory work.

Alameer actively serves on several advisory committees within the Saudi Business Council and serves on both the Saudi-British and Saudi-Qatari Business Councils, promoting private-sector collaboration and cross-border investment along with contributing to regional policy discussions on economic planning and investment. Alameer also holds the CIMA Operational Level qualification, bringing strong financial and analytical skills to his work and research.

His doctoral research investigates the effectiveness of government led, supply side interventions and their implications for regional productivity, spatial equity, and market performance. Using a mixed methods approach including hedonic modelling, supply elasticity estimation, affordability metrics, and GIS based spatial econometrics, he examines the impact of planning reforms and projects on urban and economic landscapes.

More broadly, his research interests lie at the intersection of urban governance, spatial development, and economic outcomes in rapidly transforming, state-led economies.
