Research on news agencies

In collaboration with contributors from several countries, we have compiled a comprehensive bibliography of global research on news agencies. The bibliography includes books, journal articles, monographs, and other outputs in multiple languages. It is the most extensive resource of its kind available to academics, practitioners, policymakers, and anyone with an interest in the study of news agencies worldwide. Here, you can access a DOCX or PDF version of the bibliography. This resource was prepared by Project Director, Prof Terhi Rantanen and Research Officer, Anthony Kelly.

Submitting items for inclusion

Although this first version of the resource is now online, we still hope to broaden its scope to include outputs in many more languages. We are thus seeking suggestions for further items to include. If you are an author of research on the topic of news agencies in any language, or if you are aware of research that should be included, please complete a submission below, providing details of relevant publications and outputs. You can also contact us via email at media.newsagencies@lse.ac.uk

What should I include?

Please provide information that is as complete as possible, including full names of the authors, where known, as well as the title of the output. For books, please provide place of publication and publisher. For journal articles, please provide volume and issue numbers as well as page numbers. We also welcome outputs in other formats. Entries can be in any language, but we ask that you kindly provide an English translation of the output title where possible.
