Marshall Scholarship

The Marshall Institute is delighted to offer a scholarship scheme for outstanding candidates applying to study the Executive MSc Social Business and Entrepreneurship programme. Apply by 29 April 2024.

Scholarship Amount

Three full awards of £35,317 are available to cover tuition fees for 2024 entry for outstanding candidates. Some partial awards are also available on a discretionary basis.

Eligibility

Scholarships will be awarded based on the following criteria:

  • The candidate has applied via admissions to study the Executive MSc Social Business and Entrepreneurship programme (code N2UC), including the submission of all required references.
  • The candidate demonstrates prior academic excellence or aptitude.
  • The candidate shows evidence of creative contributions in, and commitment to, the fields of social entrepreneurship, social business, corporate social business, and/or nonprofit organisations.
  • The candidate demonstrates the long-term benefits of the programme to their sector or region.
  • The candidate demonstrates that their background and professional experience will enhance the classroom learning environment.

Preference will be given to candidates from emerging or developing markets and/or those from the third sector, the public sector, and social enterprises.

One full-award scholarship is reserved for a candidate working at the forefront of an impact-first organisation that has applied to 100x Impact Accelerator Cohort 1, 2 or 3.

How to apply

Once you have submitted your Executive MSc Social Business and Entrepreneurship programme application, you will need to complete the Scholarship Application Form. The deadline to apply is Monday 29 April 2024 at 23:59. All scholarship decisions will be made and communicated by the end of May.

All decisions will be sent by email to the address supplied on your application form. Please ensure that our domain name – lse.ac.uk – is added to your safe senders list and routinely check your junk/spam folders.
