Two PhD Studentships in African Health, Economics and Diagnostics

LSE Health is offering two fully funded PhD studentships to join the AHEaD (African Health, Economics and Diagnostics) project led by Dr Lesong Conteh. The funding is for a September 2026 start, and applicants need to apply by Monday 27 April 2026 (5pm UK time) to be considered.

Research Officer in African Health Economics and Diagnostics

LSE Health is recruiting a Research Officer to join the Wellcome Trust-funded AHEaD (African Health Economics and Diagnostics) project, led by Dr Lesong Conteh. The role is full-time and fixed-term for three years, with a salary of £43,277–£51,714 pa (London allowance included). Applicants should apply by Sunday 10 May 2026 (23:59 UK time).

LSE Health welcomes applications for Visiting Fellows, Visiting Senior Fellows & Visiting Professors by academics or policy practitioners who may want to spend a period of time at the LSE to conduct independent research on a topic relevant to the work of the centre.

It is anticipated that Visiting Fellows, Visiting Senior Fellows & Visiting Professors will play an active part in the intellectual life of LSE Health during their fellowship.

The next application deadline is Sunday, 26 April 2026, for appointments starting no earlier than Monday, 6 July 2026.
