The recent Report by the House of Lords Communications and Digital Committee Digital regulation: joined-up and accountable cites the evidence submitted by the  LSE Law, Technology, and Society Research Group with approval at several points. The Report examines the co-ordination of regulatory interventions in the digital regulatory environment and how regulators may “horizon scan” for technological and cultural developments. A number of LTS recommendations including that the Digital Regulatory Co-operation forum be placed on a statutory footing and that all relevant regulators be invited to join are reflected in the recommendations found in the Report.
