About me

Federico Maria Ferrara is a Graduate Programme participant at the European Central Bank (ECB) and a Visiting Fellow at the European Institute. At LSE, he contributes to the ERC-funded SOLID project led by Prof. Waltraud Schelkle. His research interests span several topics in European and international political economy. A large part of his empirical work is based on quantitative text analysis techniques. His work has been published or is forthcoming in the Journal of European Public Policy, the Socio-Economic Review, the European Journal of Political Economy, European Union Politics, the Review of International Political Economy and the Oxford Research Encyclopedia of Politics.

Federico holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of Geneva, a MSc in International Political Economy from LSE, and a BSc in Economics and Social Sciences from Bocconi University. Previously, Federico worked as a researcher on the SOLID project at the European Institute at the LSE and in the Global Media Relations Division of DG-Communications at the ECB.
